Born east of the Granites at Wiingali, Lizzie Napaljarri was a Warlpiri person, whose country was Wiingali and main Dreaming, Ngatijirri (Budgerigar). She worked with her husband Tingiyari (otherwise known as Jacko Jagamarra ) and co-wife Susan and lived at Lajamanu. She started painting in 1986 with the Traditional Painting course.
