Born at Yarturlu-yarturlu (the Granites) c.1945. Her language/tribe was Warlpiri, her country was Jirrkarnta and her Dreamings were Ngapa, Yanjirri, Yujuku (The Shelter) and Jipilyaku. She lived at Lajamanu and worked with her sisters Topsy, Linda (Hector) and Miyungula. She started painting in 1986 as part of the Traditional Painting course run by the TAFE Unit at Lajamanu school.
