painter, was living at Quarry Hill, Sandhurst (Bendigo) when she exhibited The Virgin with Infant Christ 'after Annibale Caracci’ and a landscape 'after Claude Lorrain’ at the 1866 Melbourne Intercolonial Exhibition, her name being misprinted in the catalogue as Mary Tripling. In 1869 her View from Richmond Hill was shown at the Bendigo Mechanics Institute.
