sketcher, was born in South Australia, eldest of the eleven children of (Sir) John Morphett and Elizabeth, née Fisher . At Carisbrooke was exhibited by her father with the South Australian Society of Arts at Adelaide in 1859 together with three works by her sister Amy and two flower paintings by her mother.
