art student, was studying art at Sydney in 1873. At the annual exhibition in connection with the Pitt Street Congregational Sunday Schools (opened Christmas Eve 1873), it was noted: 'Miss M. Canvin and Masters Tilley and Milgrove are also exhibitors of drawings of no little merit’.
