Cartoonist and illustrator, works as a freelance in Victoria. In 2001 he was staff cartoonist for Melbourne Independent Newspapers and had work appearing weekly in the Melbourne Times , City Weekly , Emerald Hill Times and Melbourne Weekly Magazine . He exhibited an original drawing 'The One Nation Party is born’ (on Pauline Hanson), published in Melbourne Times on 24 May 1997, in the NMA’s Old Parliament House exhibition Bringing the House Down: 12 Months of Australian Political Humour (Canberra, 1997), cat. 42. In Bringing the House Down 2001 he showed 2 cartoons – 'Extradition orders’ and 'The emergency demonstration’ (NMA website) – and was presumably represented in the intervening years too. Rainbow illustrates his cartoon showing four people carrying the Australian flag and wearing T-shirts ’100 Years of Federation’ followed by an elderly woman carrying a British flag and wearing a T-shirt labelled ’100 Years of the Queen Mum’.
