flower painter, was included in the 4th annual exhibition of the NSW Academy of Art in 1875, viz: Miss Benbow – Amateur – NSW – Water-Colors – no.66 Victorian Orchids – Original. She showed the same original Victorian Orchids at the Metropolitan Intercolonial Exhibition organised by the Agricultural Society of NSW at Sydney in April 1875. Drawings by C.A. Benbow, presumably her brother (in which case Miss Benbow is most likely to have been Anne Benbow, who died in 1880), were also in both exhibitions.
