'The Committee on Art for the Sydney International Exhibition 1879 resolved to give the following sums to those engaged in the drawing of the Design for the Certificate of Merit: to Messrs S. Begg and H. Kent , for conjoint design, bearing the motto Sidere Mens Eadem Mutate , a sum of 20 guineas, and to Miss Kent for recasting design for 15 guineas’ ( Sydney Mail 2 August 1879, p.188).
