sketcher, drew a pen and ink view of Newcastle from the Ballast Wharf (ML). Dated 1847, this shows the town as it was in about 1845-46 and so may be a reworking of an earlier sketch. The artist was one of the five daughters of William Croasdill, a Newcastle resident.
