portrait painter, was catalogued as the artist who did a portrait of a lady in the first exhibition of the Society for the Promotion of the Fine Arts in Australia at Sydney in June 1847, the property of Mr Hutchinson. She may have been Eliza Mary McQuade, who died at Windsor (NSW) on 19 April 1895 leaving her property to her sister, Mrs Agnes Hunt of Windsor. William McQuade, a landowner in the Windsor district, was probably her father or brother.
