Won a silver medal for her charcoal drawing entered in the pupils’ section of the Women’s Industries Exhibition in 1888 ( Sydney Morning Herald 22 October 1888, 3: info. Edwina Deakin). “Mona” Brown won a certificate for a perspective drawing ( Sydney Morning Herald 22 October 1888, 8).

Exhibited [Royal] Art Society of NSW, 1892: 'Miss Wonica [sic] M. Brown has a very clever little study in no.17’ ( Illustrated Sydney News 3 September 1892, 4: info. Edwina Deakin).
