a student at Sydney Technical College c.1909. ' Seascape by Miss Forsyth [ sic ], student of the landscape painting class under Mr A.G. Reid’ is the caption to a colour plate facing p.148 in A Quarter Century of Technical Education in NSW (Sydney, 1909). A photograph on p.147 shows the students – nearly all women – at work with Reid sketching Sydney Harbour from the Domain.
