teacher of drawing, French and fencing, advertised at Hobart Town in January 1847 that he was 'formerly of L’Ecole Politechnic, in Paris’ and adding: 'Of his competency to teach the art of Drawing, Mr. Tulloch gives the most satisfactory proof’. By December, however, Mr Tulloh (sic), a teacher, was said to be returning to England. He apparently sailed via New South Wales, for a Mr Tulloh or Tulloch applied unsuccessfully in August 1849 for the position of drawing master at the Sydney Mechanics School of Arts.
