Watercolour painter. Possibly a resident at Lambing Flat, Young, New South Wales during the gold-rush years. The only work for which Clark is known depicts Camp Hill Young during the goldrush when anti-Chinese demonstrations were taking place.
watercolour painter, has had attributed to her Camp Hill Young at the Time of Riot (Dixson Galleries) which possibly dates from 1860-61, during the gold-rush period when anti-Chinese demonstrations took place at Lambing Flat, Young, New South Wales. Both title and artist’s name seem to have been inscribed later; indeed, the image itself may have been made retrospectively.
