Wally CURRAN* consulted with Noel FLOOD on bringing Arts & Cultural activities and events to AMIEU Members.
Under the AMIEU, Wally est. Steps Gallery and began a ceramics collection.

The STEGGLES Brothers (chicken farmers) wore full length drizabones, heavy gold jewellery and drank champagne at this opening. The STEGGLES gave significant support to participation in Arts and Culture for Victorian Meat Industry workers.

The Victorian Artists’ Society is a society for art practitioners and lovers.
VAS began in 1870 when a small group of artists and lay persons met in magistrate James Robertson’s house at Blessington Street, St. Kilda, to form the Victorian Academy of the Arts.
