Flood trained as an artist & worked with David Boyd & John Perceval in the late 1950s. He took up positions in the UK & the Netherlands returning to Australia ca.1962. Flood exhibited thrown functional wares & sculpture. He also had an extensive career as an educator, encouraging innovation & creativity.
