Flood trained as an artist, worked with Alan Caiger-Smith UK, Royal Delft Pottery Netherlands c 1962, and in Australia with David Boyd & John Perceval. Exhibits thrown functional wares & sculpture. He also had an extensive career as an educator. Artist in Residence, Dublin. President, Victorian Ceramic Group, 1973.
