Peter van Ketwich has continuously created with clay since his training and throws some of the largest platters and forms amongst potters. He makes sculptural, functional and semi functional ware sold at artisan markets, Ceramics Fairs and by commission for individuals and garden centres.

Living in the outer suburbs of Melbourne surrounded by dense ferny bushland, the colors, lines and textures inspire his surface finishes.

Peter has expertise in all aspects of ceramics: building and operating ceramic studios and their equipment; glazes, kiln construction and firing, welding, hand building and throwing.
He’s a renaissance man, a dancer, musician, cook, orator and a natural born teacher.
