cartoonist, has been drawing cartoons for the SMH and other Fairfax publications since c.1992 (1992 original ML PxD 586/COLLINS/2, 1997 in file). He had weekly cartoons in the Saturday Herald 1998-1999 (and perhaps earlier). A good January 1999 example was on Leo Schofield’s Sydney Festival with paying customers being denied access to the roped-off VIP arena (reserved for those who don’t pay). At the inaugural 'Australian Festival of the Book’ at Bowral in April 2002, Collins held 'cartooning/illustrating’ classes for kids in the Uniting Church Hall.
