painter, exhibited with the Victorian Artists’ Society in 1889 and 1892. Reviewing the 1889 VAS winter exhibition, the Bulletin critic noted that 'a bunch of grapes, painted on a panel by Miss Rita Adderley, look nice enough to eat. The fair artist is reported to be equally enticing.’
