Based in South Australia, Robert Stacy Jnr worked as a photographer with his father for some time during the 1880s under the name ‘R.S. Stacy & Son’. He is also known to have photographed views of the Teetulpa and Waukaringa goldfields during the late nineteenth century.

Robert Sheppard Stacy Junior, son of Robert Sheppard Stacy, was born in Adelaide on 6 January 1862. It is believed he worked with his father during the late 1880s, as the name ‘R.S. Stacy & Son’ appears in photographer listings from this period. Stacy Junior can also be placed at Waukaringa, where again, directories from the area list him as a photographer during 1892 and 1893. It is possible that he was at Waukaringa and Teetulpa to photograph the goldfields situated there in 1886.
