Born in the late 1940s, Ruby Collins shares the country of Wapurtali with Bessie Sims . Both paint Ngarlijiyi (Bush Carrot) Dreaming for this country. Ruby has been painting for Warlukurlangu Artists since the mid ’80s. Her work rarely deviates from the earth colours of the traditional palette or classic renditions of the Dreaming designs. A Warlpiri speaker, she lives at Yuendumu.
