Not much is known of T. Bladen's artistic efforts but an advertisement in the Sydney Morning Herald in 1864 calling for a camera stand, background and chair suggests an interest in photography.
possibly a photographer, was living at Balmain when he advertised in the Sydney Morning Herald of 8 March 1864 that he required 'a Background, Chair, and Camera stand’.
