professional photographer, appears to have been a son of Samuel Blatchford Webber (1819-1905), a goldsmith of Bromley, Kent, England and a keen amateur photographer. Charles was co-proprietor of T.D. Webb & Son of St John Street, Launceston, Tasmania, in 1867-70. The firm apparently continued into the 1870s.
