W. Johnson – 25 [age] – Draper [occupation] – Octagonal Star’. The catalogue of the NSW Court at the 1886 Colonial and Indian Exhibition in London (p.90) lists ’4. W. Johnson – 25 – Draper – Ring and ball’, ’5. Do – do – do – Octagonal star’ and ’11. W. Johnson – 27 [sic] – Draper – Rhomboidal shield’ in the Freehand Drawing section of works by the Art Class of the Technical College, Sydney.
