Warwick Weston Pett b. 1 January 1828

"Prior to his arrival In Victoria (c.1854) he was engaged as an artist on the Illustrated London News. In Melbourne he was on the staff of the Melbourne Punch in its palmy days, the Sketcher and the Australian News until his retirement from work, a few years ago." Engraver Warwick Pett married French born Victorine Gibbins, a trained concert pianist.
