Illustrated by much-enlarged Microscopic Drawings, subsequently reduced by Photography , Adelaide, E.S. Wigg & Son (Printers), 1883 (“for private circulation only”, Octavo, 18 pp plus 10 albumen paper photographs, c.150 × 100 mm, mounted on individual leaves). The drawings, photographed for publication by Captain Sweet , were done, Wyatt wrote, 'about fifty years since, when residing and in medical practice at Plymouth, my native placeā€¦ The cares and labours of life in a colony for nearly fifty years, ad incepto , fully accounts for so long a delay in even this limited publication.” It also explains why all known South Australian drawings are by his son, William Wyatt .
