The Gryphon Gallery, est 1972, had a policy of deliberate diversity, exhibiting contemporary artists and craftspeople.
Sometimes works were for sale, other exhibitions were of an experimental nature.
Exhibitors: staff, students, ex-students, visiting artists & lecturers.
Gryphon’s Art collection went to The Uni of Melbourne.

The Art Gallery of South Australia was founded in 1881. It is located at the heart of Adelaide’s cultural boulevard, North Terrace, between the South Australian Museum and University of Adelaide.
