painter, did a large oil painting showing NSW rising from a bed of native flora. Along with three other paintings by Arthur Collingridge , 'F.R. Mahony’ and Tindall , it decorated an arch erected for the Federation procession in Sydney on 1 January 1901.

With 107 exhibited entries recorded, Wolinski was the most prolific of all Archibald Prize entrants. Wolinski undertook, with Mary Edwards, the unsuccessful court action against the awarding of the 1943 Archibald Prize to William Dobell.
