cartoonist and illustrator, illustrated children’s books for Oldman’s Press (London) in 1949-56. He worked for the Courier Mail in 1957-63, then for the Sydney Morning Herald from 1964. Uncatalogued SMH material (ML Pic Acc 3088, donated c.1970s) includes his strips The Graffs (inhabited and metamorphosed graphs) and The Computers. Though modestly witty, the conceit rapidly wears thin.
