cartoonist and illustrator, illustrated children’s books for Oldman’s Press (London) in 1949-56. He worked for the Courier Mail in 1957-63, then for the Sydney Morning Herald from 1964. Uncatalogued SMH material (ML Pic Acc 3088, donated c.1970s) includes his strips The Graffs (inhabited and metamorphosed graphs) and The Computers . Though modestly witty, the conceit rapidly wears thin.
