sketcher, exhibited Ten Miscellaneous Sketches (Colonial) at the 1856 Victorian Exhibition of Fine Arts, Melbourne. The artist was possibly Eliza, daughter of John Cotton , who had taken drawing lessons from George Alexander Gilbert in 1848 together with her sister Caroline ( Le Souëf ).
