flower painter, was included in the 4th annual exhibition of the NSW Academy of Art in 1875, viz: Miss Benbow – Amateur – NSW – Water-Colors – no.66 Victorian Orchids – Original. She showed the same original Victorian Orchids at the Metropolitan Intercolonial Exhibition organised by the Agricultural Society of NSW at Sydney in April 1875. Drawings by C.A. Benbow , presumably her brother (in which case Miss Benbow is most likely to have been Anne Benbow, who died in 1880), were also in both exhibitions.
